    1st of all Aizaz Cheema did block him. Eventhough I am Bangladeshi, I can’t support the appeal. Yes, the by law did say that “if a player is been block inten or uninten……..5 runs will be given to Batting side,” but the by law [37.C] also said that; appeal can’t be taken as a consideration if the batting side doesn’t appeal on the game. BCB appeal off the game not on the game.

    Why on earth was the Bangladesh skipper getting a book on the ‘War of Independence’ right after the match against Pakistan? This book can’t be about independence from the British crown in 1947! It must be about 1971 Indian-supported secession and the Bengali players were not playing cricket but settling some invented scores with Pakistan. Are the Bangali players given lectures on the founding myth of Bangladesh when they’re playing against Pakistan to incite hate and trigger their motivation?

    I am from Pakistan if you want to be abusive with Indians I have no problems with that but please do not be abusive with Bengalis, or Bengalis with Pakistanis it is so heart breaking to see this, I look at Bengalis as brothers, it was just a match may be in future things may change and Bangladesh may win, Bangladesh played very well and looks like they are heading for a prominent future in cricket.

    As a Bangladeshi i am very dissapointed with the action of bcb.Whatever happened in the past just let it go.This type of mistakes do happens in the field.Now I wish they should just forget about it and look forward as more oppurtunities are ahead.And i request bcb to take their complain back for the sake of maintaning the good relation of these two brother nation.

    I understand your point. And in fact I am saying the same thing. Whatever BCB’s president did (including axing Tamim from the initial squad!) should not make you guys lose respect of our young team members. They did not claim the trophy back. Our players appreciated Pakistani team and praised and congratulated them for their victory. We general people are happy how our team performed. And I do not think any Bangladeshi with dignity would want this cup back in this manner either.
